For the question: Are you unemployed as a direct result of a recent disaster (for example: earthquake, flood, mudslide, or fire) in California?
Did you input Yes or No?

You will put no. Continue on and there will be a section to put that the reason is COVID-19.

Thank you! I saw the section that said separation explanation and inputted related to coronavirus. The recent disaster question was the last question in the claim for me and I did input no. I did receive a confirmation number but did you also receive an email confirmation as well? Thank you again!

I did not receive a confirmation email. But just save the confirmation number.

I was told that I could apply for unemployment as a sole proprietor. If that’s the case, I’m uncertain how to fill out some of the questions. For example, do I list my business as the last employer? How do I list my wages by pay period since I don’t take regular draws?
